Practicing Sportsmanship: Opening of Siglakas '18

Earlier this afternoon was the opening of the Siglakas 2018. The event started with an athletic parade followed by the opening ceremony held at the PIT Oval grounds.

One of the highlights of the opening ceremony is the presentation of different teams from Junior High School, Senior High School and College. In addition is the lighting of the urn as a symbol that the Siglakas 2018 is officially open.

On the welcome address of OIC-VPAA Dr. Virginia S. Beltran, she said that, "We develop [skills] and celebrate beauty, art, health, and friendship."
